Terms of Service.
By creating an account or using GED Hall Pass, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
1. The service
GED Hall Pass is a software-as-a-service product that helps adults prepare for the GED® test. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the American Council on Education or GED Testing Service LLC. "GED" is a registered trademark of the American Council on Education.
We provide practice questions, AI-generated lessons and feedback, mock exams, and progress tools. We do not guarantee a passing score on the actual GED test. Your results depend on your own effort.
2. Accounts
You must be 16 or older to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your password secret and for activity on your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password immediately and email us.
3. Subscriptions and billing
- The free trial is 7 days of Plus-tier access. No card required to start.
- Paid subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period (monthly, 6-month, or annual) until cancelled.
- You can cancel any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; the service stays available until then.
- We bill through Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's terms.
- Refunds: we'll happily refund the most recent charge within 14 days if you ask, no questions. Beyond that, we evaluate case by case.
4. AI-generated content
Lessons, tutor replies, essay feedback, and voice read-aloud are produced by AI. We design the prompts and review the output, but AI can occasionally be wrong, biased, or strange. Use your judgment. Don't make medical, legal, or financial decisions based on output from this product.
You retain ownership of your essays. By submitting them for scoring, you grant us a non-exclusive license to process them through our AI vendor for the purpose of returning feedback to you.
5. Acceptable use
Don't:
- Share your account with multiple learners (each learner needs their own).
- Scrape, mass-download, or attempt to extract our question bank.
- Reverse-engineer the AI prompts or attempt to bypass tier gating.
- Submit content that's illegal, harassing, or designed to manipulate the AI in malicious ways.
If we believe you've broken these rules, we may suspend or terminate your account.
6. Service availability
We aim for high uptime but we don't guarantee it. Cloudflare and AIMLAPI both have their own outages occasionally; when they do, parts of GED Hall Pass may be unavailable. We don't owe refunds for transient outages.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim related to GED Hall Pass is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. This service is provided "as is" without warranties.
8. Changes
We can update these terms. If we make material changes, we'll email you at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date means you accept the new terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. Disputes are resolved in the state or federal courts located in that state.
