Getting started
How does the 7-day free trial work?
You sign up — no card needed — and get full Plus-tier access for 7 days. Use the AI tutor, the mock exam, generate AI lessons, the works. Day 8 you drop to free tier unless you've upgraded to Basic / Plus / Premium.
What's the difference between Free, Basic, Plus, and Premium?
- Free: dashboard, dictionary, the 5-question demo, reading any passages.
- Basic: all four GED subjects, unlimited practice, full mock exam simulator, progress tracking.
- Plus: Basic + Professor Hall AI tutor + AI-generated practice + lesson generation.
- Premium: Plus + voice read-aloud + extended-response essay scoring + the rewrite-paragraph coach.
Will the AI tutor just give me the answer?
No — that's deliberate. Professor Hall is built around Bloom's taxonomy: he asks the next right question instead of handing you the answer. If you push for the answer, he'll cite the specific text or rule and ask you to apply it.
Mock exam
Does the mock exam look like the real GED?
Yes — the layout matches Pearson VUE TestNav. Same dark-blue header, same Flag for Review button, same calculator + formula sheet panes, same review screen before submit. We use the official 2014/2024 GED Mathematics Formula Sheet verbatim.
Which sections give me a calculator?
Math (Part 2 only — the first 5 questions are no-calculator, exactly like the real test), Science, and Social Studies. RLA never. The on-screen calculator is a TI-30XS MultiView replica.
How long is each subject's mock exam?
- RLA: 150 minutes (we offer 10 / 25 / 50-question versions)
- Math: 115 minutes (5 / 23 / 46-question versions; 5-q is the no-calc warm-up)
- Science: 90 minutes (10 / 18 / 35-question versions)
- Social Studies: 70 minutes (10 / 15 / 30-question versions)
What's the pass line on the score band?
The real GED reports a 100–200 scaled score; 145 is passing, 165 is "GED College Ready", and 175 is "GED College Ready + Credit". Our score band shows your estimate against those thresholds.

Teachers / programs
I run a class. Can I bulk-enroll my learners?
Visit /teacher/ to create a program and invite learners by email. You'll see their attempts-this-week and the cohort's weakest topics in your dashboard.
Does my organization pay one bill, or do learners each pay?
Today, each learner runs their own subscription. Org-level seat billing is on the roadmap — email us if you'd like to be notified when it ships.
Privacy
Who can see my essays and tutor conversations?
Only you. Our AI vendor (AIMLAPI) sees the relevant text payload to produce feedback, and our hosting provider (Cloudflare) stores the data — but no one else, and no advertisers ever. See the Privacy Policy.
Are my answers used to train AI models?
No. We don't share your data with model trainers. We send your essay or message to AIMLAPI strictly to return AI feedback to you.
